Our November capsule was captured on a perfect  sunny Saturday in leafy Woollahra! The lovely Emily, our November muse was an absolute delight to work with.
We also loved having the opportunity to chat to her about  modelling, travel, fitness and life goals.
We also caught her on old school film, our photographers fave! Have a little read about Emily and check out the images from our first roll.

So Emily, if there are 5 words to describe yourself, what would it be?
I always find this question so difficult to answer! Take a look at @emilydoherty_ and you’ll get a better picture of me than I could put into words.

Where’s your hometown? Is it Sydney?
No, Sydney is not my hometown. I grew up on the Gold Coast and lived in Brisbane for six years during university (I have a Business Management degree and am a Speech Pathologist). I moved to Sydney in December 2016. I’ll always be a Queenslander at heart!

What is the most rewarding part of what you do?
I love working together with other creatives to achieve a common goal. It is so rewarding when our vision is brought to life.

Tell us about your experience with Miss Universe, and becoming the state finalist, what was that like?

I loved being part of the Miss Universe Australia competition and would do it again in a heartbeat. Despite popular belief, the pageant was very empowering and encouraged me to be the best version of myself.

You're the girl behind  @theglutenfreebucketlist on Instagram, tell us how that all began and what inspired you to start.
I have Coeliac Disease and am required to follow a strict gluten free diet. I decided to create @theglutenfreebucketlist so that I had a digital log of my favourite gluten free destinations, products and recipes.

You are clearly VERY fit, what’s your workout routine? We’re dying to know your secret to having full-on abs! ;)
I have always been a very active person and eat very healthily. I workout 6 days per week and enjoy doing a mix of HIIT, weights and KX Pilates.

What inspires your personal style?
I love monochrome. My wardrobe only consists of black, white, grey and denim. If I am feeling adventurous, I’ll wear a stripe!

What’s your dream vacation destination?

Africa! Ever since I was a child, I have been obsessed with The Lion King. My childhood dream will finally come true when I spend four weeks in Africa this December.  Apologies in advance for the IG spam!

 “When I’m stressed, I know I can relax by……”
Going for a long walk outside in the fresh air followed by a large cup of tea.

What’s next on your bucket list?

I would love to travel overseas for modelling. I will hopefully be going to New Zealand in February next year … fingers crossed!
