We’ve collaborated with the gorgeous Bridie McPhie, stylist and digital marketing guru from Brisbane. Bridie talks to us about her favourite stylist, favourite cities, and her fashion icon.
Check out our interview for more details and check her out on Instagram @bridiemcphie. She's also in the process of updating her fashion blog/website, so an eye out for that! It's launching soon!

Has Brisbane always been home for you?
Yes it has! However my sister lives in Sydney so I am always visiting and I really love getting the best of both worlds. Brisbane is very chilled out in comparison!

How would you describe your style?
I would say it’s a bit eclectic. I draw a lot of inspiration fromSpanish street style bloggers, because they have this way of clashing things together and just making it work, which I really love.

Do you have a favourite stylist?
There are so many! I love Camille Seydoux’s work, Maria Bernad fromSpain and of course the legendary Emanuelle Alt - to name a few!

If you had to pick 3 favourite things from your wardrobe, what would they be?
My vintage leather jacket, a pair of vintage Levi’s denim and a statement shirt.

You’re well-travelled, what’s been your favourite city so far, and why?
It’s hard to choose! I love Greece, but I also love Spain. I think they would tie!

Have you met anyone interesting/famous on your blogging journey?
It’s actually really embarassing because loving blogs so much I really look up to the amazing people that write them! I think my biggest highlight was meeting Angelika Blick when I was in Sweden.
I ran into her in Zara and told her how cool I thought she was (major fan girl moment).

If you could style anyone on the A-list, who would it be?
I would love to style Chrissy Teigan. Firstly because I think she would be awesome to work with and super down-to-earth, but she also always looks incredible even in a tee and jeans.

Mum jeans or skinny jeans?
Mum jeans are in right now and are a vintage classic, but every womanneeds a pair of staple skinny jeans in their closet. So - skinny jeans.

What’s that one thing that makes an outfit complete for you?
Adding something with a point of difference. Whether it be a belt, a statement shirt or a pair of shoes, I always need to add one thing that is a bit eye-catching.

Who’s your style icon?
It it always changing! But right now probably Pernille Teisbaek (also an amazing stylist, add her to my list!).
